Danielle received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and then completed 2 years of a residency program, which focused on teaching and clinical experience. Danielle has worked at Corum since 2003; first as a pharmacy technician, then as a staff pharmacist during her residency years, followed by the position she currently holds. As Director of Clinical Services, she focuses on medication regimen reviews, in-service education programs, medication administration audits, quality assurance programs, policy and procedure development, and collaborating regularly with interdisciplinary team members. Following her residency, Danielle became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist as well as a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, which highlights expertise in medication management in the older adult population. Only a small percentage of pharmacists become certified in geriatrics, so Corum is in a unique position to provide exceptional care for the senior population. Danielle has published numerous articles and regularly does presentations for various organizations. She is also involved in the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), and is currently serving as President of the Missouri Chapter. Danielle has also obtained her teaching certificate, and enjoys precepting pharmacy students. She is currently working on a hospice and palliative care pharmacy certification.
